Variety of formats
easescreen can display all common PC-based file-formats without prior conversion; this extends from flash-movies, pictures and movies of all formats, to PowerPoint presentations and all other MS-Office files. A list of all supported file-formats can be found under Product Features. easescreen does not require a Microsoft-PowerPoint licence.

Simple usage
easescreen can be entirely operated without prior need for tedious and time-consuming training. Every computer-literate person familiar with Microsoft products can manage all tasks through a clear and uniform user-interface. There is no need for additional and complicated mask editors or outsourcing of expensive layout and set-up services.

Preview function
The Screen-Manager provides the user with an identical preview of what will be displayed on the POV-Client screen. Status information and screenshots of every Client can be displayed at any time.

Standard protocols
When using easescreen, all media data can also be updated via Internet-Standard-Protocol (e.g. FTP). Simple configuration and update tasks can be carried out via the Web-Interface (integrated HTTP-Server).

Flexible layout
Within the Screen-Manager the screen layout can be designed with total flexibility. Although pre-defined screen-layouts are always available, the user is not constrained to the use of any masks. Screen-partitions can be created unlimited times and within each area, any available type of content (data, web, movies, TV, etc.) can be inserted.

Display-levels
Within easecreen, any number of levels and sub-levels can be defined in order to separate layout and content. Varying editing rights can be allocated to unlimited numbers of persons or groups. For example a “Group 1” and a “Group 2” can be created to provide the opportunity for two different groups to create completely independent schedules. Furthermore, these levels can be displayed in various ways, e.g. parallel or sequential.

Presentation-templates (and assistants)
Once created, any presentation can be saved as a model for use in the future. Moreover, with the (text processing-) programme of your choice, templates with placeholders can be created (e.g., a welcome page where only the name needs to be added), and easescreen automatically inserts the desired parameters.

Display-logging
All displayed media data is automatically logged without need for additional modules.

Controlled events
Any desired type of ‘triggers’ can be configured through an existing standard-module, which can furthermore be fed with contents through the regular Screen-Manager-Interface. For example, at public transport stops information updates can be shown in parts of a layout-screen, or, the current state of a door (open/closed) can be displayed, or, any available data from a till-point can be blended into the screen.

TV, Videotext, DVB-S, (S)-Video
Like every other type of data, TV is incorporated into easescreen and can be brought into a presentation at any point and number of times. Different (viewing) modes include full-screen, as background, multiple videotext-pages simultaneously viewed, multiple TV-channels, Picture-in-Picture, etc.

Control of output devices
From the very beginning easescreen was specially developed for use with projectors, plasma screens, etc. Output devices can be turned on/off, switched over and monitored automatically.

Flexible programme-design
The concept behind easescreen enables individual visualisations and adjustments to particular needs to be rapidly realised and integrated. Whether you want to receive and display data from any external devices, or information from databases should be extracted and formatted, our team of programmers can usually realise such adjustments within a few days.

Multiple screens
Providing the hardware performance of the POV-Client-PCs are adequate, easescreen allows the handling of up to 4 output devices through 1 PC. Also available are a “MultiClient” Version and a “BigScreen” Version. In the former, every output device behaves like an individual “virtual” POV-Client (e.g. as if 4 individual PCs were installed). In the latter, a single Client spans one image across a large output area (e.g. over 4 screens).

Great scalability
easescreen is available in many versions, with the simplest running, for example, on a single PC without network connection. Users are flexible to choose whether the ability to split screens and to extend planning are required. Furthermore, since single features of the software are available separately, individually-tailored and cost-effective solutions can be found to suit your particular tasks.

No Server
In simple easescreen networks the POV-Clients can be controlled directly through the Screen-Manager, thereby making any additional (always active) Server-PC unnecessary.
In addition, the Screen-Manager can be installed unlimited times and multiple Screen-Managers can process the content of the POV-Clients simultaneously (protected through passwords).
For larger networks, the easescreen Management-Server is available, which takes over communication with the individual Clients, monitors their functions and offers extended validation and alarm notification functions.
Because of this, easescreen is suitable for all purposes – from the most simple solutions to multiple-branched companies.

Simple installation and hardware-requirements
easescreen is a highly-integrated programme package, through which installation (and maintenance/upgrades) is extremely simple – typical Client-installations are carried out within 30 minutes. For this reason it is also easy to install on your hardware – no special PCs are necessary.
